NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON IRVINE RANCH WATER DISTRICT’S PROPOSED ADOPTION OF A 2025 WATER SHORTAGE CONTINGENCY PLAN AND A 2025 URBAN WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of Irvine Ranch Water District (“IRWD”) will conduct public hearings on June 22, 2026 , at 5:00 p.m. (or as soon thereafter as is reasonably practicable) in the Board Room of the offices of IRWD located at 15600 Sand Canyon Avenue, Irvine, California for the purpose of receiving public comments concerning the proposed ADOPTION OF THE 2025 WATER SHORTAGE CONTINGENCY PLAN, AND ADOPTION OF THE 2025 URBAN WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN, as required under California Water Code Section 10642. Any member of the public may make up to three minutes of comments on the proposed plans at the hearings, or may address written comments to Fiona Nye, Director of Water Resources at IRWD, P.O. Box 57000, Irvine, CA 92619-7000 or at comments@irwd.com . Written comments must be received by noon on June 22, 2026 to ensure their inclusion in the public hearing. Drafts of the 2025 Water Shortage Contingency Plan, and the 2025 Urban Water Management Plan are available for review on IRWD’s Web site ( www.irwd.com / https://tinyurl.com/IRH2OD / https://www.irwd.com/doing-business/urban-water-management-plan ) or at the District office located at 15600 Sand Canyon Avenue, Irvine, California. If you require translation services, please notify us prior to noon on Thursday, June 18, 2026 via email at comments@irwd.com so we may arrange for appropriate translation services. B. Plan Submittal and Public Availability
Pursuant to Water Code Section 10621(d), within 30 days of adoption and by July 1, 2026, IRWD will submit its 2025 UWMP to the DWR. IRWD’s complete UWMP, WSCP, and separate standardized tables will be submitted electronically to DWR.
