7.2 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
On September 30, 2021, OCWD sent a letter via email to all of the Basin 8-1 agencies to inform them that the 2017 Alternative was being updated and would be available for review and comment. No comments were received by any of the agencies contacted. A draft of the 2022 Update was presented to the OCWD Board and posted on the OCWD website on November 18, 2021, to allow for public review and comment. The final 2022 Update was presented to the OCWD Board on December 15, 2021. At this board meeting, a resolution was adopted to support the submission of the 2022 Update to DWR.
7.3 COMMUNICATION PLAN
Proactive community outreach and public education are central to OCWD. The 2017 Alternative provides detailed information on OCWD’s communication plan.
