MANAGING GROUNDWATER DEPLETIONS IMPACTING SURFACE WATER Although IRWD does not have immediate plans for groundwater pumping in areas of GDEs, in the event that replacement or new wells are constructed near sensitive areas, groundwater monitoring will be implemented to ensure the groundwater production does not have an undesirable result on the GDE along Serrano Creek.
