Water Resource Management Programs
SECTION 6. WATER RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS OCWD has a wide variety of water resource management programs that cover the main groundwater basin as well as the upper Santa Ana River watershed to address Santa Ana River flow and quality. These programs are important in protecting the quality of the Santa Ana River, which affects groundwater quality in the Santa Ana Canyon Management Area. These programs are described in detail in Section 6 of the OCWD Management Area part of the 2017 Alternative.
