As discussed in Section 7.1, IRWD's supplies remain relatively constant between normal, single- dry and multiple-dry years. Metropolitan’s 2025 UWMP concludes that Metropolitan has sufficient supply capabilities to meet expected demands from 2030 through 2050. IRWD’s DRA indicates that even in five years of consecutive drought there is a water supply surplus without the use of WSCP response actions. Should the DRA, water supply reliability assessment or other IRWD planning evaluations indicate a possible shortage condition, the appropriate shortage response actions would be triggered at the relevant level.
